Site Considerations
HAJC typically looks for sites with the following characteristics:
At least 3–5 acres.
No wetlands or floodplains present or adjacent to the site.
Relatively flat.
Properly zoned.
Located within city limits or a UGB.
Nearby adequate utility service is a plus.
Environmental Review
Prior to the acquisition of any site, HAJC must complete an extensive environmental review. This process may take approximately 90–120 days to complete.
