Quality affordable homes and rental assistance

Our Story

The Housing Authority of Jackson County has provided affordable housing and rental assistance to our community for more than five decades.

HAJC began as a small public housing authority administering a few hundred Section 8 housing certificates with a small team of employees. Over the years, the agency has worked to expand housing opportunities and respond to the changing needs of Jackson County residents.

Today, HAJC provides housing stability for more than 4,000 Jackson County households and has grown to become the largest developer, owner, and operator of affordable rental housing in Southern Oregon.

Our Commitment HAJC is committed to increasing the supply of affordable homes, reducing homelessness, strengthening families, and building partnerships that support long-term housing stability.
